We are striving to ensure the safest environment possible for our office and our patients. We are requiring that only those who have or want an eye exam appointment will be allowed to enter our office. Exceptions are accompanying minor children or a translator or caregiver. All patients entering the office must wear masks. Upon entering the office, patients’ temperatures may be taken. Patients are encouraged to not touch anything in the office unless necessary. If someone needs to cough or sneeze, please cough or sneeze into your elbow. Do NOT enter the office if you have a fever, persistent cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms that are common to coronavirus, or may have come in contact with someone who is positive for coronavirus.
The doctor and staff will be wearing gloves, masks and face shields. Contact surfaces in the office will be wiped and disinfected frequently. Social distancing will be followed when possible. There will be times during the eye exam process when adequate social distancing is not possible such as when the doctor and staff conduct eye tests, look into your eyes, or help you with contact lenses.
