Many patients believe that they need to go to an expensive medical or optometry practice to get great eye care. We believe that you deserve quality eye care and great service for a very reasonable price.
We are inside Costco but we operate truly as an independent and family-run optometry practice. We love what we do and love our patients. We opened our optomety practice inside the Rohnert Park Costco when it first opened in 2002. We feel blessed to be able to live and have our optometry practice here in Sonoma County. We appreciate the family community and down-to-earth friendliness of the patient population here.
We strive to provide you great eye care and outstanding service. We are committed to the core principles below.
We care about you and your eyes individually. We understand that each person has a unique set of eyes and each person uses their eyes differently. It is important to us that we listen to you and try to find the best possible visual correction for your individual needs.
Doctor Michael Dinh is committed to providing caring and professional eye care. Dr. Dinh performs more than 3,000 eye exams a year on patients ranging from 3 years old to 90 years old. He has performed more than 50,000 eye exams. He has vast experience in examining patients with eye health conditions.
In his eye exams, he carefully screens for eye conditions such as corneal problems, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular and retinal diseases. In additon, he often finds systemic conditions in eyes such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol when examining patients' eyes.
Dr. Dinh specializes in "challenging" contact lens fits including patients with astigmatism and bifocal or multifocal needs. He keeps up to date with the newest and most advanced contact lenses. Dr. Dinh regularly gives patients a trial pair of contact lenses after the exam so that patients can try the contact lenses first before they purchase more.
We are a truly independent optometry practice. We only perform eye exams and do not sell any eyeglasses or contact lenses. This allows us to be completely independent and honest with our eyeglass and contact lens recommendations.
We only care about what's best for you. We have no interest in trying to sell you expensive eyeglasses or contact lenses. Most of our patients take our prescriptions and purchase glasses or contacts at the Costco Optical right next door to our Optometry office. All our patients are free to take our prescriptions anywhere they wish.
We are a no-hassle optometry office. Although we are located inside Costco in Rohnert Park, you do not even need to be Costco member to have an eye exam with us. When you arrive at Costco, just tell the Costco employee at the front entrance that you have an eye exam and he or she will let you in.
We value your time. Most of our patients are seen the moment they arrive in our office and have little or no wait time at all.
We greatly appreciate it when you show up for your appointment on time so that we can keep a smooth schedule for all our patients. In addition, we always try to pick up the phone promptly during our office hours. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
